Option #2
Download a 360 image viewer app
Such as: 360 panorama viewer
360 images render very well on: (no special apps needed)
Google Photos
360 images will look very skewed/distorted until they are viewed through an interface that knows what to do with them (viewer/ Facebook/ Google Photos etc).
Example: A 360 image can be uploaded to your phone but doesn’t look correct. You can select the image and post to Facebook… Image will appear correctly on your Facebook post.
Hosted links look like an image but are actually a link that is hosting the image on another server. Most VR Real Estate tours require hosting.
Click the link below for an example of a hosted link: https://momento360.com/e/u/8c7e10e4a9884b3faaf941f2fafe5bca?utm_campaign=embed&utm_source=other&heading=0&pitch=0&field-of-view=75&size=medium&display-plan=true
Pros: High quality image. Takes up no storage on your PC. Can be viewed from any device or platform.
Cons: Link can be deleted or removed. Can have hosting fee
Stand alone images do not “live” anywhere else. They are “living” right in front of you on your phone or computer (locally). You have control of these images, they are not hosted anywhere else.
Pros: No hosting fee. You are controlling the location and accessibility.
Cons: Images may require a lot of disc space. Not recognized by all platforms. Not easy to share with others.
